About Me

I'm here because I believe everyone deserves the space to heal, understand themselves and grow.

I'm a psychotherapist and mindset coach with a background in therapeutic counselling, early years and transformational coaching. My work supports individuals and couples navigating emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, identity, confidence and periods of change. Alongside this broader work, I have a particular passion for supporting mothers and maternal mental health. I believe that becoming a mother can bring profound changes to identity, relationships, emotional wellbeing and the way we see ourselves.

Working towards professional counselling accreditation.

My story

A personal journey into therapeutic work.

My path into therapeutic work is rooted in my own lived experience.

Growing up, I experienced the impact of a mother whose mental health declined while caring for six children. Support was not available for my mum, and witnessing her struggles shaped my own experiences of growing up and finding my way in the world.

As I entered adulthood, I found myself without some of the tools I needed to build healthy relationships, create a healthy lifestyle and feel confident in who I was.

But alongside these experiences, I also had a foster mum who was very present in my life. The experiences I shared with her gave me hope. They showed me that there could be something different, that support matters, and that there is more out there.

Those experiences have stayed with me.

My journey to psychotherapy

My own experience of psychotherapy became an important part of my journey.

Through therapy, I was able to build my confidence and acknowledge something that had been so easy to lose sight of:

I matter too.

That realisation helped me understand the importance of having a safe space to be heard, understood and supported. It also strengthened my passion for helping others discover their own worth and possibilities.

Why mothers became an important part of my work

My personal experiences helped me understand how deeply a mother's wellbeing can affect her sense of self, her relationships and her family life. I saw first-hand what happens when a mother does not have the support she needs — and I also experienced the difference that presence, care and hope can make.

This shaped a genuine passion for supporting mothers. Too often, mothers are expected to keep going, care for everyone else and put their own needs aside. Yet behind the role of being a mum is a person with their own experiences, emotions, identity, hopes and dreams.

I want mothers to feel understood and supported — to know that their mental health matters and that it is possible to begin reconnecting with themselves.

My professional journey

From therapy to coaching — and everything in between.

My journey into therapeutic work began with counselling training and developed through experience supporting adults, children and families. Over the years, I have built on that foundation through further training in therapeutic counselling, transformational coaching and couples work developing an integrative approach that draws on a range of evidence-based frameworks, tailored to each individual.

How I work

Warm, compassionate and tailored to you.

I work in a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental way, drawing on therapeutic approaches tailored to each person's individual circumstances. No two people are the same, and no two sessions are the same.

Therapy is not about becoming someone else. It is about understanding yourself — your experiences, your patterns and the ways in which you have learned to cope. It is about creating space for meaningful change, at a pace that feels right for you.

Who I support

A space for everyone who needs it.

I work with individuals, couples and mothers who may be experiencing emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, anxiety, overwhelm, changes in identity, low confidence or periods of transition. My specialist focus is maternal mental health, but my therapeutic work extends beyond motherhood. Every person brings their own experiences, relationships and circumstances, and my role is to create a safe space to explore what matters to you.

My Approach

Therapy that meets you exactly where you are

I work integratively, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs. No two clients are the same, and no two sessions are the same.

Compassionate

A warm, non-judgemental space where you are free to be exactly as you are.

Evidence-based

Grounded in proven therapeutic frameworks, adapted to your unique experience.

Empowering

My goal is always for you to leave with more than you arrived with — tools, clarity and confidence.

Confidential

Everything shared in our sessions stays between us, held within a framework of professional ethics and care.

My belief

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to understand themselves, heal and grow.

You can care deeply for others and still need support yourself.

You can be navigating relationships, motherhood, identity or simply a season of life that feels difficult.

Your story matters. Your wellbeing matters. You matter.

This is the heart of Flow Therapeutic. A space to feel understood, empowered and supported as you find your way back to yourself.
